PROFESSIONAL & SKILLED WORKERS

Professionals and Foreign Skilled Workers are in high demand in Canada.

Canadian immigration is to fast-track and welcome skilled newcomers who will contribute to Canada's growing economy. Skilled workers who settle in Canada on a permanent basis are especially valuable to Canada's economy and the strength of its workforce, and as such the IRCC / CIC has set this as one of their main priorities.

Successful applicants of the Skilled Worker Immigration programs will receive a Canadian Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa, allowing the applicant to immigrate to Canada with his or her family, and settle permanently with much the same rights and benefits as a citizen of Canada.

During 2017, Canada will welcome an increased number of immigrants through skilled worker programs.

As a skilled worker or professional worker, you have several options to consider. You can either apply under Canada's Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and the Quebec Skilled Worker Class. In addition, if you know in which province or territory you plan to reside, you may be able to submit an application through one of the provincial nominee programs.

Below are 3 worker categories to immigrate through, however the first step is to complete an Assessment

  • Federal Skilled Worker: This program is for individuals with certain work experience who intend to reside in any province or territory outside of the province of Quebec, and who hold a recognised qualification and or who have significant experience in their field of expertise.

  • Federal Trades Worker: This program is for individuals with certain trade work experience who intend to reside in any province or territory outside of the province of Quebec, and who hold a recognised trade and or who have significant experience in their field of expertise.

  • Quebec Skilled Worker: Applicants who plan to immigrate exclusively to the province of Quebec may be eligible to submit an application through this program. French as a first language here is highly recommended.

These programs are fast-track Canadian immigration processes, that allow candidates to receive an invitation to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada. In most cases, these programs are concluded within 3 - 6 months from the time of invitation.  However, getting to the point of invitation is the confusing part for most and it is here we recommend using our services to ensure a smooth and successful process.  We urge you to complete an Assessment to ascertain your eligibility and we can then advise from that point onward.

Many Canadian employers are actively seeking foreign skilled workers to join their workforce as quickly as possible. If you can obtain a job offer from a Canadian employer, you may also qualify for fast-track Canadian immigration application processing and gain extra points for valid job offers.
